Fishing for carp on the shore of lake Vezin is a unique and exciting experience for novice or expert fisherman alike.

The waters are vast, with the lake stretching for fifteen miles through some of the most beautiful country in Normandy. However, if you're here for the fishing rather than the scenery you needn't walk far: we have exclusive rights to some of the best swims and pitches on the lake, offering easily baited gravel and silt beds, with plenty of room for comfortable fishing.

The fish themselves are usually virgin catches, beatiful and unmarked. Fed naturally by the lake, they are unsophisticated in their taste for bait and in a recent out-of-season trip 60+ fish were caught on six rods in one weekend!

Recent sessions have yielded catches in excess of 25 pounds, and 30 or even 40 pound carp are a possibility for the expert freshwater fisherman, or even a lucky youngster! Pike, rudd, tench, bream and roach are also present in abundance.

In addition to the main lake we have our own ‘secret’ smaller lake about 10 minutes from the house where night fishing is a must, just pitch your bivvy and start to fish.
